Therefore, some scents may be stronger than others, may cure with bumps or cracks, or dye color may fade. However, this should not affect your candle experience Trim the candle wick to approximately ¼ inch above the wax each time you light the candle. Allow your candle to burn for at least 2 hours on the first burn. If the candle flame gets higher than 1 ½ inch blow out the candle and let wick and wax to cool down before relighting If a fire starts, use baking soda and fire extinguisher to extinguish flames Store your candles in a cool, dark, and dry place Do listen to your favorite playlist and relax while the candle is lit.😊 Leave a review on our website and social media. DON’T: NEVER LEAVE CANDLE UNATTENDED Never leave candlelit for more than 4 hours at a time. DO NOT FALL ASLEEP WHILE CANDLES ARE LIT Do not place in direct sunlight or harsh lighting.     All purchases are final. Please read scent descriptions carefully prior to placing your order. In addition, please test bath and body products on small portion of skin and read the ingredients of the products to avoid allergic reaction.   

    In the event that you receive a damaged product during shipment or fault of Building My Table, LLC then please follow instruction below: 

    • Purchased within the last 30 days 

    • Prove that the candle was defective or at fault by Building My Table, LLC 

    • Show proof (pictures) of damaged items 

    • You received a Return Merchandise Number (RMN) from us

    Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    Late or Missing Refunds

    Exchanges 

    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item: 

    • Please notify us at cwilkins@buildingmytable.com within 72 hours for assistance 

    • Include photos of the damage or issue with your item 

    Lost or Stolen Packages 

    We are not responsible for packages that have been marked as delivered but has appeared or has actually been stolen.

    Please be advised that there are occasions where USPS is holding the package for pickup but incorrectly marks and does not leave a notice. We recommend checking with your local Post Office to see if they are actually holding your package for pickup.

    Unfortunately, USPS may not allow you to file a claim as they have fulfilled their duty to deliver the package. You will need to file a complaint with the US Postal Inspector that investigates mail theft and file a police report with your local police department to notify them of the theft.
